Software Engineer – Full Stack, Backend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.

• Create and manage REST APIs along with GraphQL/gRPC integrations.

• Develop components and content blocks based on React for Unified CMS experiences.

• Implement and enhance server-side rendering and static site generation through Next.js.

• Establish and manage content models, schemas, and structures within Contentstack.

• Construct reusable UI components employing design systems and contemporary frontend practices.

• Integrate third-party APIs and resolve complex end-to-end data flows.

• Support initiatives for personalization and functionality for A/B testing.

• Create and execute strategies for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Contribute to the performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of applications.

• Engage in Git-based development workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project objectives and positively influence project outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in Full Stack environments with a stronger emphasis on backend development.

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript.

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript.

• Advanced proficiency in Node.js.

• Advanced proficiency in React.js.

• Experience with Next.js or comparable SSR frameworks.

• Experience in REST API development.

• Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.

• Strong understanding of programming concepts, software design, and principles of software development.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Ability to tackle a variety of tasks and challenges.

• Skill in organizing personal time and delivering on assigned tasks.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.

• Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.

• Experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Knowledge of Jest, Playwright, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
