This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Contribute to the long-term technical vision and shape multi-year engineering decisions and culture.
• Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and technical risks to aid in product strategy.
• Design innovative systems for strategic initiatives, including clean-sheet product development.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies, foster continuous learning, and act as a technical resource for engineering teams.
• Lead the software development lifecycle from conception to release.
• Define system architecture and requirements.
• Design algorithms and create firmware and embedded applications utilizing object-oriented principles.
• Conduct verification and validation to ensure quality and reliability.
• Utilize Agile, SDLC, SEBoK, and PLM methodologies.
• Establish and maintain development tools and processes.
• Carry out competitive analysis and eliminate obstacles to efficient execution.
• Communicate intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and deliver technical proposals.
• Facilitate the resolution of complex issues and drive strategies aligned with stakeholder interests.
• May require up to 10% travel.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant post-graduate industrial manufacturing experience required.
• At least 3-5 years of object-oriented software development experience using Rust, Python, Java/JavaScript, C++, and C#.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of application development for embedded Linux, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Linux system administration and support.
• At least 3-5 years of experience using IDEs, such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of implementing RTOS for MCU-based control systems.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of developing and integrating RS232/485, CAN, MQTT, Modbus, and Ethernet protocols.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with MCU peripherals including UART, USB, GPIO, I2C, SPI, PWM, Timers, eMMC, and SoM architectures.
• Proven track record in architecting, implementing, and deploying complex technical solutions.
• Proficient in using Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, and SonarQube static analysis.
• Familiarity with interpreting hardware schematics for debugging purposes.
• Experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, and micro-services for cloud computing solutions involving Digital Twin, SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and Data Lakes.
• Electro-mechanical experience in industrial or automotive products is preferred.
• Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
