Senior Firmware Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create innovative designs for advanced professional security systems.

• Incorporate sub-GHz devices and cloud services that ensure secure connectivity.

• Integrate cutting-edge cybersecurity functionalities into embedded systems.

• Improve secure firmware update processes and bootloader functionalities.

• Enhance the performance of embedded systems.

• Develop product platforms utilized across various devices.

• Address real-time challenges within RTOS environments.

• Execute API implementations.

• Guide architectural decisions for crucial firmware elements.

• Shape hardware design, communication protocols, and cybersecurity strategies across different product lines.

• Establish integration logic for the Everon product family, ensuring compliance with EN50131 Grade 3 standards.

• Assure the quality of solutions through collaboration with QA, debugging, and resolving bugs.

• Assist in verification, validation, certification, and production workflows.

• Work alongside teams in Product Management, Hardware, Compliance, and Cybersecurity.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and internal development guidelines.

• Collaborate with global engineering teams across various time zones.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technology strategy and roadmap planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Embedded C programming.

• Background in cybersecurity.

• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.

• Familiarity with RTOS and bare-metal development.

• Skilled in debugging embedded systems.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience with secure boot or secure firmware updates (preferred).

• Knowledge of RF/sub-GHz systems (preferred).

• Experience in EN50131 or the security industry (preferred).
