📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance software for data collection agents operating across Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms.

• Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and fellow engineers to convert feature requirements into user-friendly, high-performance experiences.

• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and maintenance.

• Produce clean, efficient, and dependable code that meets customer expectations.

• Create automated tests and detailed test plans.

• Assist in maintaining and supporting Cribl SaaS products.

• Occasionally participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong grasp of operating system fundamentals, including memory management, CPU architecture/scheduling, filesystems, process lifecycles, and networking.

• Outstanding troubleshooting and debugging abilities.

• Capability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Experience utilizing the latest AI tools to enhance delivery while maintaining quality.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional experience in software development using TypeScript and Node.js.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Experience using assertion frameworks and tools for automating regression tests, like Mocha.

• Previous work on data-intensive applications and/or data stream processing.

• Experience working remotely across different time zones.

• Willingness to engage in stand-by, on-call, or after-hours responsibilities.

• Dedication to ownership and maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
