This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Take ownership of complex projects and guide architectural decisions.
• Construct robust solutions for data management, API development, and alternative data sourcing.
• Develop APIs utilizing company data for significant international accounts.
• Conduct web scraping and source open data across various geographies.
• Enhance risk models and business insights through alternative data sourcing.
• Improve master data management, data quality, and governance.
• Deliver AI-powered solutions from end to end, encompassing data pipelines to user interfaces.
• Create and analyze knowledge graphs.
• Formulate financial models and simulations.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and uphold CI/CD standards.
• Optimize development workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to incorporate models into production systems.
• Engage in technology monitoring and propose innovative solutions.
• An engineering degree or equivalent, with experience in a technical leadership position.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing Python applications, adhering to high-quality standards and implementing best practices for code reviews and continuous integration.
• Independent, curious, collaborative, and dedicated to knowledge sharing.
• Strong English communication skills for projects in international settings.
• Familiarity with the Python ecosystem and Data Science libraries.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in deploying applications in the cloud and utilizing infrastructure as code.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Front-end programming experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or comparable technologies.
• Skills in Linux administration.
• At least 2 years of experience in deploying projects.
• Strong programming abilities; proficiency in Python is essential.
• Experience with ReactJS and Java.
• Expertise in API design, including FastAPI.
• Proficient in data management and database integration, including MongoDB, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Apache Airflow.
• A DevOps mindset, including production readiness, deployment automation, and monitoring with Kubernetes, CI/CD, Kibana, and Grafana.
• English proficiency is required for collaboration with global teams.
• A degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 3 days of remote work per week.
