Software Engineer, DAML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, implement, and maintain applications based on Canton using DAML.

• Perform software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging within a DAML-focused platform.

• Convert client needs into detailed technical specifications.

• Design DAML smart contracts that fulfill client requirements.

• Detect and resolve issues in both production and non-production applications.

• Produce documentation throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow team members.

• Engage in on-call support rotations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with DAML.

• Solid understanding of Canton’s public and private networks.

• Over 4 years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Scala or Haskell.

• In-depth comprehension of distributed ledger technologies and their applications in the financial sector.

• Expertise in relational database management systems and APIs.

• Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and message queuing systems.

• Experience with REST and GRPC for system integration.

• Understanding of other blockchain protocols (EVM-based) is a plus.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, time management, and task ownership skills.
