Software Engineer, Credit Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, alter, and assess high-quality, testable, and efficient code across front-end, back-end, and data layers.

• Connect systems through APIs, messaging queues, and databases.

• Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with a strong emphasis on automation.

• Maintain continuous integration (CI) pipelines to automate test execution upon code commits.

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on issues, utilizing AI-driven tools when applicable.

• Ensure code quality standards are adhered to through reviews and static analysis.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines.

• Package and deploy applications to various environments using containerization and orchestration tools.

• Monitor applications in production environments using observability tools.

• Investigate incidents, analyze logs, determine root causes, and implement solutions.

• Enhance code for performance, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.

• Implement secure coding practices, manage secrets appropriately, validate inputs, and ensure robust authentication/authorization.

• Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain documentation for audit purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must be located in Brazil for this position.

• Proficient in English at B1 level or higher (Intermediate).

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience with Java and/or Golang.

• Over 3 years of experience in Java and/or Golang.

• Background in the Financial Industry or Payments sector.

• Proficient in Java and adaptable to other languages such as Golang.

• Advanced user of Git; adept at resolving version control issues within a team.

• Conduct thorough code reviews emphasizing cross-domain quality.

• Write and validate unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests.

• Familiar with Swagger, flow diagrams, and API documentation; supports DEVEX and external publishing.

• Skilled in Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh for infrastructure and deployment; understands related integrations or correlated CI/CD tools.

• Possess deep product knowledge; involved in feature planning and impact analysis.

• Strong understanding of relational database design and non-relational strategies; effective data modeling skills.

• Proficient in AWS, applying optimal performance techniques.

• Capable of designing scalable microservices and evaluating architectural options.

• Identifies and resolves issues in distributed systems to enhance reliability.

• Knowledgeable in observability practices including monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
