Software Engineer – Container Fabric

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Supervise and improve a large-scale Kubernetes infrastructure platform to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.

• Develop internal tools to minimize manual tasks and optimize platform delivery across global teams.

• Oversee Day 1 and Day 2 operations for Kubernetes clusters utilizing modern scaling frameworks.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to manage production environments effectively.

• Lead responses to high-severity incidents.

• Propel platform advancement through cloud-native tools and contemporary infrastructure practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering with a focus on managing production environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes primitives, such as Deployments, StatefulSets, and Services.

• Practical experience in creating custom Kubernetes Operators.

• Proficient in Go for systems programming and infrastructure automation.

• Demonstrated ability to manage production stability, monitor, and address high-severity incidents.

• Familiarity with cloud-native auto-scaling technologies like Karpenter or Cluster API.

• Hands-on experience with Helm and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
