Software Engineer – Cloud & Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Python-driven Azure Functions for API integrations, automation tasks, and backend processing.

• Develop and improve internal SDK modules for seamless interaction with the Brightree Web Services API and other healthcare APIs.

• Construct and uphold Snowflake SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines.

• Utilize VS Code, GitHub, and contemporary CI/CD methodologies to oversee code quality and deployment processes.

• Establish secure credential management using Azure services such as Key Vault and Managed Identity.

• Partner with operations, billing, and clinical teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Leverage AI tools (like Claude, Copilot, etc.) to produce code, validate system architecture, and expedite development processes.

• Assist in automation projects utilizing Microsoft Power Automate wherever applicable.

• Diagnose production issues, enhance performance, and guarantee the reliability of integrations.

• Keep documentation updated for APIs, workflows, and internal libraries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in professional software development.

• Strong command of the Python programming language.

• Practical experience with Azure Functions and Azure cloud services.

• Proficiency in using VS Code, GitHub, and modern development methodologies.

• Experience with SQL, preferably Snowflake.

• Familiarity with the Brightree API, healthcare APIs, or similar environments that require extensive integration.

• Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude, Copilot, etc.).

• Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication processes, and secure integration methodologies.

• Capability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
