Software Engineer, CDX Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for the Control Center platform.

• Contribute to services related to authentication, authorization, audit logging, and other security aspects of the platform.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create solutions focused on customer needs.

• Engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to engineering best practices.

• Enhance application performance, observability, security, and developer experience.

• Support CI/CD processes and advocate for automation throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and provide technical estimations.

• Monitor and improve system health, reliability, and scalability.

• Document technical solutions and share insights with team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Brazil.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher (Upper-Intermediate).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, or 2+ years of software development experience.

• Experience with Golang and/or React.

• Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with observability tools, monitoring, and logging solutions like Grafana.

• Knowledge of databases including MySQL, Aurora, Cockroach, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and concepts of distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Understanding of Git and version control workflows.

• Knowledge of AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SSO.

• Knowledge of microservices and micro frontend architectures.

• Experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting backend services and/or web applications in production environments.

• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting production systems.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
