Software Engineer, C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Profile models and introduce new hardware.

• Transform models and assess their performance.

• Lead decisions on cross-platform compatibility while mentoring the team on embedded-systems ML infrastructure.

• Design and enhance distributed ML inference systems for deployment from edge to cloud.

• Oversee performance engineering to optimize throughput and latency across diverse hardware.

• Manage resource strategies for memory-limited embedded environments.

• Create comprehensive frameworks for unit, integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and performance testing.

• Direct the architecture of CI/CD pipelines with automated hardware testing.

• Establish quality metrics and monitoring for production firmware releases.

• Propel cross-functional architectural decisions in collaboration with product, hardware, and data science teams.

• Conduct technical reviews and guide intricate system-design choices.

• Manage technical-debt reduction initiatives and long-term scalability planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in commercial software development.

• Strong proficiency in C++.

• Solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals.

• Demonstrated experience with Agentic AI.

• Expertise in CMake, Bash scripting, and Linux command-line operations.

• Exceptional written and spoken proficiency in English.

• Experience in model conversion, quantization, and performance profiling is a plus.

• Familiarity with Python is an asset.

• Knowledge of Git and Jenkins is advantageous.

• Practical experience with AWS and Docker is a bonus.
