Software Engineer, Backend – Django

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality software architecture and design.

• Develop and implement efficient APIs for the front-end team.

• Produce clean, functional, and scalable back-end code for web applications.

• Manage and implement databases and applications.

• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure alignment of server-side and client-side functionality.

• Enhance applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Identify and resolve technical challenges.

• Work with QA engineers to formulate testing strategies and develop test plans.

• Craft and execute testing scripts.

• Conduct regular updates to enhance system functionality.

• Create new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar capacity.

• Proficient in Python, including Django and the Django Rest Framework.

• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Basic comprehension of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with other teams.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
