Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of backend systems and infrastructure, overseeing everything from design to deployment and scaling.

• Develop efficient and dependable APIs and services that support financial products.

• Create and execute scalable architectures on AWS utilizing Node and TypeScript.

• Make practical trade-offs regarding speed, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Frequently deploy production code while upholding stringent quality standards.

• Set technical patterns and establish best practices for the engineering team.

• Collaborate effectively with product engineers and other stakeholders.

• Manage issues comprehensively, delivering high-quality code, analyzing data, making product decisions, and iterating swiftly in a live environment.

• Construct and enhance infrastructure that provides financial access to millions of underserved Americans.

• Submit a POST request with name and LinkedIn parameters before applying.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in professional software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend development.

• Proven experience in building and scaling production systems using Node and AWS.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

• Demonstrated success in delivering reliable and high-performing systems at scale.
