Back-End Developer I – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create highly sophisticated technical solutions for the Omie system.

• Become proficient in the software’s back-end architecture by analyzing its components, structure, and functionality.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in both manual and automated testing, as well as in the development of software requirements.

• Identify and evaluate business solutions and architectures through effective communication and knowledge sharing with the development team.

• Engage in tactical and operational discussions while helping to define the area’s annual technical goals, including conducting feasibility studies and proofs of concept.

• Mentor, train, and collaborate with the development team to pinpoint business, architectural, and design solutions through communication and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure that the development team achieves its short- and medium-term objectives, with the capability to adapt practices, standard procedures, and task prioritization as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, a related IT field, or Engineering is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP system functionalities is preferred.

• Proficiency in software development languages such as CoreBuilder, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and C#.

• Understanding of relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platform services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Experience with source code control tools, such as Git and SVN.

• Proven experience in performing unit tests.

• Comprehension of the fundamental principles behind scalable applications.

• Experience in development following OWASP guidelines.

• Background in customer support or customer service roles.

• Experience collaborating as part of a team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
