Software Engineer, Back-End – Mail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage high-throughput production services that support AI agent orchestration, connector integrations, and real-time data pipelines.

• Create and implement core platform services designed for scalable systems.

• Collaborate across the Go, Mail, Docs, and Enterprise product suite as needed.

• Partner with ML/AI, Product, and Front-End engineers to deliver AI-enhanced features from start to finish.

• Construct and enhance infrastructure as code to ensure high availability for both consumer and enterprise clients.

• Contribute to engineering practices that prioritize documentation, testing, and reliability.

• Mentor and support the growth of junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in back-end development.

• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and system design principles.

• Proven experience in building, deploying, and troubleshooting production systems at scale.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure.

• Proficiency with AI coding tools, including Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.

• Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or high-throughput API design is advantageous.

• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

• Capability to work autonomously, manage priorities across multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong product instincts with the ability to balance speed and reliability.
