Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development and design of products tailored for Home Depot customers and staff.

• Create, test, implement, and uphold software solutions.

• Adhere to organizational best practices and engage in discussions aimed at improvement.

• Assist the team in achieving goals even under challenging conditions.

• Gain insights through both successful and unsuccessful experiments when addressing new challenges.

• Pursue growth and seek challenges through various formal and informal development opportunities.

• Foster partnerships and collaborate with others to fulfill shared goals.

• Work alongside team members in agile methodologies.

• Engage in product configuration, security, resilience, performance optimization, and production monitoring.

• Typically report to a Software Engineer Manager or Senior Manager.

• No travel is required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

• Experience with an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java).

• Knowledge of source code version control systems.

• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL database technologies.

• Understanding of cloud computing methodologies.

• Experience with CI/CD tools.

• Exposure to microservice architecture.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study.

• At least 1 year of professional work experience.
