Senior React Native Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of KYC and onboarding mobile processes from user signup to identity verification and level upgrades.

• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces, navigation, and identity-verification SDK integrations.

• Lead architectural decisions for React Native, establish patterns, set standards, and ensure uniformity across mobile interfaces in the Registration Squad.

• Integrate and manage identity provider SDKs such as Incode and Jumio, including handling version upgrades, migration tasks, and incident management.

• Write clean, well-tested code for React Native and iOS, advocating for engineering best practices during code reviews.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, focusing on root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.

• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and backend engineering teams to convert regulatory requirements and user expectations into mobile solutions.

• Share expertise, engage in technical discussions, and mentor other engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in React Native development, with a successful track record of delivering production-grade mobile applications at scale for both iOS and React Native.

• Strong proficiency in native iOS development.

• Practical experience in integrating third-party SDKs, specifically those related to identity verification or biometric services.

• Knowledge of the constraints and tradeoffs associated with mobile SDK integrations in regulated environments.

• Experience in designing and maintaining mobile architectures that are testable, maintainable, and resilient.

• Comfortable working at the intersection of mobile and backend systems.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous processes, and mobile state interactions with backend systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership.

• Preferred: familiarity with KYC/AML processes, identity verification providers like Incode, Jumio, or IDWall, or onboarding procedures in regulated financial products.
