Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain secure and dependable file-transfer solutions connecting external partners with internal systems.

• Design and execute API integrations linking the Record Management System with web applications.

• Facilitate file upload and download capabilities.

• Set up and resolve issues related to automated file-transfer processes.

• Establish FTP/SFTP connections.

• Collect business requirements.

• Ensure adherence to operational and security standards.

• Report to the Associate Director, HGB IT Platform and Foundational Services for Humana Military.

• Collaborate efficiently and maintain comprehensive documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development.

• Demonstrated experience with Visual Studio, ADO Repository, and NuGet package management utilizing C# and .NET.

• Practical experience in building SSIS packages.

• Capability to obtain interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS – National Background Investigation Service).

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to Department of Defense contract requirements.

• Candidates residing in Puerto Rico are not eligible for hire.

• Expertise in C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, SSIS, SQL, and similar tools.

• Must have a self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
