Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Create a digital platform that combines eCommerce functionalities with tools for managing IT assets, cloud environments, and SHI services.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools, including coding assistants, code generation models, and automated review tools.

• Design, implement, and sustain dependable, scalable software solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, React, and SQL databases.

• Engage in the software development lifecycle from design and development to testing and deployment.

• Collaborate with product managers, software architects, fellow engineers, and cross-functional teams.

• Take part in code reviews and apply SOLID principles along with domain-driven design.

• Adhere to software engineering best practices, such as automated testing, code quality, and documentation.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ongoing process improvement.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, particularly in AI-assisted software development.

• Assist in the architecture and design of distributed, cloud-native systems.

• Assume responsibility for technical delivery, software quality, architectural decisions, and team success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 2 years of professional experience in developing modern web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.

• Proven experience with AI coding assistants, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, within a regular development workflow.

• Familiarity with React or other contemporary JavaScript frameworks.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.

• Experience in relational database design, specifically with SQL Server or Postgres.

• Comfortable working in an agile, CI/CD, Git-centric environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Intermediate knowledge of cloud computing, encompassing virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

• Proficient in programming and scripting skills.

• Intermediate knowledge of systems and infrastructure.

• Ability to analyze technical requirements and specifications at an intermediate level.

• Intermediate skills in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.

• Intermediate proficiency in SQL.

• Intermediate knowledge of PaaS, with a preference for Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.

• Intermediate proficiency in ORM frameworks.

• Intermediate experience in Test-Driven Development.

• Preferred: Experience in AI-assisted software engineering, agentic coding tools, prompt engineering, and LLM-powered workflows.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms, event-driven and distributed architectures, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, test-driven development, Python, Databricks, or Elasticsearch.
