Senior Batch Developer – Pharmacy Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and provide support for intricate batch processing applications within Linux and Unix environments.

• Offer technical guidance, mentor developers, steer solution design, conduct code reviews, and assist in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate application and database issues utilizing SQL Server and/or Oracle.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to enhance system performance and stability.

• Assist with change management, release planning, production deployments, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Propel modernization through automation, cloud technologies, and best practices in DevOps.

• Contribute to Medicaid healthcare systems, encompassing claims processing, reference systems, PBM, Drug Rebate, ProdDur, batch processing environments, and other vital healthcare applications.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Application Development, Technical Leadership, and Batch Programming with C, Unix, and Linux.

• Expertise in system integration, automation, XML, and scripting.

• More than 5 years of experience in leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and supporting all stages of the SDLC in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

• Over 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including database querying, data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

• Familiarity with change management, release planning, production deployments, and cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management capabilities.

• Experience in supporting Medicaid pharmacy healthcare systems, including Pharmacy Claims/Reference, PBM, batch processing environments, interChange, Drug Rebate, and ProdDur.

• Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule to meet business needs and travel as necessary.

• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and the first week of orientation.
