Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop tools for MongoDB Atlas, a database-as-a-service platform.

• Create APIs and user interfaces for customer interaction with stored data.

• Assist users in managing their MongoDB deployments while monitoring health and performance.

• Engage with desktop applications like MongoDB Compass and the browser-based Atlas Data Explorer.

• Perform both frontend and backend engineering tasks.

• Design and structure modern, scalable, and high-availability web applications.

• Collaborate with the Developer Tools Team.

• Examine complex challenges in distributed environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in full stack engineering with a readiness to tackle both frontend and backend responsibilities.

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Experience in designing and architecting modern, scalable, and high-availability web applications.

• Familiarity with database management.

• Understanding of database internals and tuning methods, especially indexing (preferred).

• Experience with websocket-based communication between client and server (preferred).

• Knowledge of microservice architectures utilizing Kubernetes (preferred).

• Must reside in the United States.

• Must possess US citizenship.
