Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy applications for Mercor’s RL Studio platform.

• Create MCP servers using Python and FastMCP.

• Seamlessly integrate web or desktop applications with RL Studio.

• Engage with APIs, Docker, Linux environments, and service configurations.

• Implement populate/snapshot hooks for effective app state management.

• Conduct local testing and troubleshoot build, runtime, and permission issues.

• Ensure applications comply with platform validation and deployment standards.

• Contribute to projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Experience with APIs, backend systems, and debugging processes.

• Familiarity with Docker, Linux, and local testing methodologies.

• Capable of working with configuration files and deployment pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to technical details.

• Experience with FastMCP or similar frameworks is a plus.

• Background in integrating third-party applications or developer tools is advantageous.

• Knowledge of web applications, databases, and containerized environments is a bonus.

• Must be engaged as an independent contractor.
