This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and sustain automation systems to ensure a large VR/UGC application operates smoothly in production across various VR headsets, mobile devices, and PC cloud streaming.
• Collaborate with the runtime and KTLO teams to minimize manual operational tasks and on-call responsibilities through automation efforts.
• Manage and enhance an AI-driven code repair system that autonomously generates and applies fix diffs.
• Create tools to identify broken builds, trace root causes of issues, and suggest or implement solutions.
• Oversee production quality metrics and take action in response to regressions and outages.
• Aim to alleviate manual on-call workloads through automation, targeting an 80–90% reduction in repetitive operational tasks.
• Carry out infrastructure migrations to ensure CI/CD pipelines remain operational as upstream dependencies phase out.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in constructing and managing CI/CD, build, release, and cloud deployment pipelines at scale.
• Proficient in operating cloud services and server-side fleets in a production environment, focusing on reliability, capacity, and latency.
• Experience in developing or managing AI-assisted developer tools or agents that generate or repair code.
• Skilled in building tools that identify broken builds and trace failures back to their root causes.
• Familiarity with production monitoring, crash triage, and incident response for large-scale, multi-surface applications.
• Proven track record of decreasing operational and on-call demands through automation.
• Experience in executing infrastructure or dependency migrations without disrupting downstream CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge in cloud gaming or application streaming, or remote rendering.
• Experience managing asset delivery or CDN pipelines at scale.
• Competency in capacity, latency, or session orchestration monitoring for streamed workloads.
• Background in operating live-service or large-scale production applications (Live Ops).
• Familiarity with large monorepo build systems and dependency management.
• Experience in designing self-healing or auto-remediation systems.
