Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain high-quality software solutions.

• Deliver features from initial concept through development to deployment and ongoing support.

• Construct scalable APIs and backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Contribute to frontend development with Vue.js as necessary.

• Develop and maintain applications and services using Node.js.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing activities.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Delivery teams.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.

• Diagnose issues and enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Software Engineer delivering production-ready software.

• Strong backend development expertise with Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and scalable services.

• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies, preferably Vue.js.

• Experience in working with Node.js.

• Solid understanding of software design principles, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

• Experience in writing automated tests and maintaining code quality.

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS.

• Experience in Agile working environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps principles.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
