This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assess business needs from system end users and stakeholders.
• Convert high-level requirements into comprehensive designs.
• Strategize solutions using the provided information and resources.
• Design, develop, architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end business applications on the Appian BPM platform.
• Configure Appian’s Business Process Management Suite to enhance human-centric business processes.
• Create and implement data models based on customer application needs.
• Support hands-on development, Proof of Concepts, and demonstrations as necessary.
• Offer expertise in SQL and Appian CDT configurations.
• Develop and implement Appian and web-based applications.
• Create AI-integrated solutions and/or AI-supported DevOps.
• Provide technical direction to other developers when needed.
• Draft and revise documentation, including custom use cases, agile user stories, and BPMN process models.
• Develop Appian BPM applications and integrate them with other commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
• Estimate and assess Appian business requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues in Interfaces and Process Models.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Appian Level 1 or 2 Certification is required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Appian BPM, and APIs.
• Some familiarity with AI-supported development practices and AI-integrated features is preferred.
• Experience with integrations involving external systems.
• Ability to define the scope of Appian projects and provide precise estimates.
• Strong design capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or EAD/GC holders.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
