This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute and oversee systems analysis, design, and development ranging from basic to complex levels.
• Act as an individual contributor on intricate projects.
• Maintain a comprehensive functional understanding of the applications being supported.
• Guide and supervise less experienced team members while coordinating development tasks on projects of varying complexity.
• Prepare and manage the technical aspects of project plans.
• Engage in systems development activities from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.
• Prepare and evaluate test data, execute comprehensive test plans, and perform debugging.
• Assess complex interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms.
• Offer analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing technological solutions that align with business objectives.
• Draft and review technical and functional specifications, systems documentation, charts, tables, and diagrams.
• Prepare and evaluate project assessments, including tasks, timelines, and resource effort.
• Ensure the efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications.
• Recommend technologies, policies, or processes and participate in the technical evaluation of vendor software.
• Adhere to and promote development standards and procedures.
• Maintain an understanding of supported business functions, processes, operations, and strategic direction.
• Support with expense and capital budgeting.
• Comply with risk and regulatory standards, policies, controls, and internal control requirements.
• Identify risk issues that require escalation to management.
• Champion diversity and uphold the Bank's brand.
• Implement internal and external audit findings and address relevant regulatory issues.
• Perform other related duties, which may include potential leadership roles in due diligence, cost-benefit analysis, and business studies.
• Work under the guidance of the Technology Team Lead while independently managing high-level systems analysis and technical development phases.
• Oversee project activities and monitor staff performance.
• Collaborate with senior management, technology staff, clients, and vendors.
• Serve as backup for higher management and act as a technical representative on committees or ad-hoc projects.
• At least an Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis/application development, or alternatively, a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 5 years in systems analysis/application development.
• Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.
• Proficient in using personal computers, relevant project management software, word processing software, and spreadsheet software.
• Capable of managing multiple complex projects.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to target audiences.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong lateral thinking abilities.
• Experience facilitating coordination between Applications and business units.
• Proven experience in recommending and implementing systems solutions.
• Experience driving project milestones and ensuring delivery timelines.
• Good understanding of the Bank's application framework.
• Subject matter expertise in the business and experience with the supported application/system.
• Advanced understanding of supported applications and their interfacing/integrated applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as autonomously.
