Senior Flutter Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete development lifecycle, technical design, and architecture of high-performance Flutter mobile applications tailored for the e-commerce industry.

• Engage in architectural planning discussions to shape project direction.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

• Uphold high coding standards through systematic code reviews.

• Connect mobile applications with headless CMS platforms and backend e-commerce services via RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

• Execute and sustain GraphQL federation patterns, utilizing Apollo Client.

• Guarantee responsive, scalable, and high-performing UI/UX across both iOS and Android platforms.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize API interactions, data flow, and maintain state consistency.

• Implement secure authentication processes, end-to-end data encryption, and robust payment processing workflows.

• Ensure adherence to mobile e-commerce security standards.

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines alongside automated testing frameworks.

• Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and enhance application performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven software development experience, showcasing expertise as a Senior Mobile Developer with a focus on Flutter.

• Practical experience with Apollo GraphQL, federated schemas, and integration patterns for REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Comprehensive understanding of Flutter state management solutions like BLoC, Riverpod, and Provider.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating mobile applications with e-commerce backends, headless CMS systems, and payment gateways.

• Strong familiarity with mobile app security best practices, secure authentication, and PCI/payment integrations.

• Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines and implementing automated testing strategies for mobile applications.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, at an advanced or fluent level.

• Excellent communication skills for direct engagement with U.S. stakeholders.

• Ability to work in alignment with the CST time zone from LATAM.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.

• Prior experience with large-scale retail or e-commerce platforms is advantageous.

• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development would be beneficial.

• Experience with performance monitoring tools and crash analytics, such as Firebase and Sentry, is a plus.
