Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish robust pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Lead engineering projects from the identification of issues through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and the development of next-generation AI products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, preferably related to data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Portfolio and LinkedIn profiles are requested upon application.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with GCP and Terraform.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
