AI Engineer – .NET, Azure AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Design, troubleshoot, oversee, and collaborate with teams while developing digital products.

• Create and integrate generative AI, speech-to-text, RAG, and AI search solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related software engineering positions.

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Extensive professional experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8), particularly in building orchestration and backend APIs.

• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models (GPT-4o-level).

• Familiarity with generative AI for summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription workflows.

• Experience with Whisper.NET, Azure Cognitive Services / Speech, RAG, and AI search methodologies.

• Exceptional proficiency in using Agentic AI tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot.

• Strong understanding of Transformer-based model architectures and core Machine Learning principles.

• Experience in deploying or integrating AI models into production settings, APIs, pipelines, or backend systems.

• Analytical mindset with a robust problem-solving capability.

• Background in collaborating with engineering and product development teams.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Must reside in Portugal or be willing and legally eligible to live and work there.
