Senior AI Developer – Product Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver the initial production agents alongside Product Managers, initiating with brief creation and the handoff from Product Managers to design, then expanding throughout the product lifecycle.

• Establish common architecture and standards for orchestration, skills, memory, evaluations, and safeguards across both product lines.

• Take charge of production quality, which includes observability, testing, security, and cost, ensuring human approval at each phase.

• Collaborate in design efforts with Product Managers, leverage existing automation, and release small iterations for testing and user adoption.

• Assess time savings, the duration from customer signal to shipped decision, and the cost associated with each agent and feature.

• Disseminate agent development practices so that the team can independently create, manage, and enhance agents.

• Engage daily with Product Ops, the AI-Software Development Life Cycle team, Product Managers, and the Senior AI Developer on the Data team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in production engineering throughout the agent development lifecycle.

• Practical experience in designing and delivering multi-agent systems to production, encompassing orchestration, tools, context, and memory.

• Familiarity with integrating multi-agent systems with platforms such as Slack, Atlassian, and MCP.

• Experience in instrumenting and assessing non-deterministic systems, which includes evaluations, observability, regression testing, and cost analysis.

• Possess architectural judgment in areas of reliability, security, and cost.

• Capability to identify the appropriate model for specific tasks and substantiate a technical standpoint.

• Experience in developing components or tools that are adopted by others.

• Understanding of Product Manager workflows and user-centered product development.

• Daily and critical use of AI-assisted development tools.
