Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines for integrating them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and contribute to the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from initial problem identification to implementation and ongoing enhancements.

• Create high-quality datasets at petabyte scale while minimizing costs through a combination of engineering, infrastructure, and research.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficiency in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.
