Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Assume responsibility for engineering projects, from problem identification to execution and ongoing enhancement.

• Create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale with minimal costs by merging engineering, infrastructure, and research expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably with data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Links to a portfolio and LinkedIn profile.

• Nice to have: Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with GCP and Terraform.

• Nice to have: Understanding of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
