Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines for integrating them into training datasets.

• Design and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Manage engineering projects from the initial problem identification to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach, and the capacity to work independently in ambiguous settings.

• Nice to have: Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
