Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the advancement of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from the initial problem discovery through to implementation and ongoing enhancements.

• Merge engineering, infrastructure, and research to create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale while minimizing costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, preferably related to data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and capability to work independently in uncertain environments.
