Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Identify and explore new audio data sources while establishing dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on optimizing data quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Assume responsibility for engineering projects from initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or extensive data processing.

• Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition techniques, or distributed data-processing systems.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially with GCP and Terraform.

• Understanding of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing concepts.
