Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to incorporate them into training datasets

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, optimizing for data quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness

• Collaborate closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and support the development of next-generation models

• Take ownership of engineering projects from problem identification through execution and ongoing enhancement

• Create high-quality datasets at petabyte scale and minimal cost by integrating engineering, infrastructure, and research

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend development

• Proficiency in Python and Bash within Linux environments

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, ideally related to data pipelines or large-scale data processing

• Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain environments
