Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines for integration into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance extensive data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Assume responsibility for engineering projects from identifying problems to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and innovative AI products.

• Integrate engineering, infrastructure, and research to produce high-quality datasets at petabyte scale while minimizing costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficiency in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain situations.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing frameworks.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially with GCP and Terraform.

• Understanding of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
