Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and create efficient pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from problem identification to implementation and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related area, or comparable practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain situations.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems (preferred).

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform (preferred).

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing (preferred).
