Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Assume responsibility for engineering projects from identifying problems through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Create high-quality datasets at petabyte scale and low expense by merging engineering, infrastructure, and research.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work autonomously in uncertain settings.

• Portfolio and LinkedIn profiles are requested upon application.
