Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and create robust pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Manage engineering projects from problem identification through to implementation and ongoing enhancements.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and next-generation AI products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating strong backend development skills.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production systems, particularly those related to data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach, and the capability to work independently in uncertain situations.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data processing systems.

• Experience with cloud services and Infrastructure as Code, especially with GCP and Terraform.

• Understanding of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.

• Submission of a portfolio and LinkedIn profile is required with the application.
