Software Engineer – AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines for their integration into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost-efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Take initiative on engineering projects from problem identification to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Construct data pipelines that facilitate model training and next-gen AI products.

• Merge engineering, infrastructure, and research to create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale while minimizing costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.
