Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate extensively with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Lead engineering projects from the identification of problems through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Create high-quality datasets at petabyte scale and minimal cost by merging engineering, infrastructure, and research efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or extensive data processing.

• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently in uncertain situations.
