Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines for integrating them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work in close collaboration with AI Scientists to enhance training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, preferably with data pipelines or extensive data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition techniques, or distributed data-processing architectures.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with GCP and Terraform.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality standards, or audio processing methodologies.
