Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on optimizing data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects, overseeing everything from problem identification to implementation and ongoing enhancements.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and next-generation AI solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating strong backend development skills.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, preferably those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach, and the capability to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially with GCP and Terraform, is a plus.

• Understanding of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing is a plus.
