Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish robust pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Assume responsibility for engineering projects from the identification of problems through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating strong backend development skills.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing architectures.

• Experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.

• Submission of a portfolio and LinkedIn profile links is required with the application.
