Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish dependable pipelines to incorporate them into training datasets

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models

• Lead engineering projects from identifying problems to implementation and ongoing enhancement

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments

• Proven experience in building and managing production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain environments

• Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems is a plus

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform, is advantageous

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing is a plus
