Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify and source new audio data to establish dependable pipelines for training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, emphasizing data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Manage engineering projects from initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and drive the development of next-generation AI products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or extensive data processing.

• Strong analytical skills, proactive approach, and the capacity to work independently in uncertain situations.

• Preferred: Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform.

• Preferred: Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
