Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from initial problem identification through to execution and ongoing enhancement.

• Create data pipelines that drive model training and future AI products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or extensive data processing.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems (preferred).

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with GCP and Terraform (preferred).

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing (preferred).
