Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with AI Scientists to enhance training datasets and assist in the development of next-generation models.

• Manage engineering projects from problem identification to implementation and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong foundational skills in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and maintaining production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, proactive initiative, and capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data processing systems is a plus.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform, is a plus.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing is a plus.
