Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Identify new audio data sources and establish reliable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and facilitate the development of next-generation models.

• Take ownership of engineering projects from the initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing improvement.

• Create data pipelines that support model training and next-gen AI products.

• Merge engineering, infrastructure, and research to develop high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale while minimizing costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, particularly those involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the initiative to work independently in uncertain situations.
